Growth of EV charging stations in Melbourne

The City of Melbourne’s Transport Strategy 2030 aims to encourage the use of electric vehicles.3 As a means of support, the number of electric vehicle charging stations throughout Melbourne and Victoria is steadily increasing. Across Victoria, the Electric Vehicle Council counted 17 public fast-charging sites in July 20194 and 311 high-power sites by mid-20255.
