Growth of EV chargers in Adelaide
The City of Adelaide itself provides 54 electric vehicle charging stations2 across about a dozen council sites in the city centre and North Adelaide, at four on-street locations and eight UPark car parks, alongside the privately owned stations. That council tally is not comparable with the 99 figure above: it counts the council's own chargers within the council area, while the 99 counts separate public charging locations run by any operator within about 8 km of the CBD. The number of EV stations in Adelaide and across South Australia continues to increase.
